Psychology and Wellness Copywriter, Marketing and Digital Content Producer

NYC THERAPY + WELLNESS and Psychologist, Dr. Logan Jones, are seeking a highly creative, enthusiastic, dynamic and innovative Full-Time Copywriter and Project Manager to lead for our modern NYC-based mental health practice and self-development multimedia projects. 

We are looking for a talented, highly-engaged and organized, can-do thinker who is willing to take on multiple creative projects in an evolving and expanding growing wellness brand and practice based in NYC.

This is a full-time position requiring 35+ hours each week of attention to copywriting, content production, project management and marketing.  Proficiency with Wordpress and an aptitude for web management (uploading articles, hyperlinking, etc.) is essential for the position.

The majority of your time will focus on copywriting and producing content at the direction of Dr. Logan Jones (and supporting three associate psychotherapists). The hours are flexible, allowing for a work-life balance combination of mostly remote work, with some time spent working side-by-side with creative wellness professionals.

While proficiency in the aforementioned mediums is required, you do not need to be a seasoned copywriter. We are here to nurture you and develop a strong working relationship. What is most important is that you are enthusiastic about the work and aligned with our vision.

Responsibilities:

Copywriting 

  • Write copy for our websites, blogs, newsletters and email campaigns, videos/audio scripts and social media accounts that help us spread hopeful, educational, uplifting messages 

  • Develop blog posts and guest posts weekly

  • Pitch quotes for press outlets and Help A Reporter Out (HARO)

  • Produce Social Media Content 

  • Creating wellness products (worksheets, audio affirmations, e-courses)

  • Craft compelling Video Scripts

  • Conduct SEO and keyword research and optimization of blog content and sites

  • Copywriting for Digital Product development, marketing, and advertising

Project Management

  • Work collaboratively with each associate psychotherapist

  • Manage Social Media and HARO Calendar

  • Execute Special Projects (developing e-courses, marketing campaigns, etc.) 

Communications + Public Relations

  • Build a therapy + wellness provider network with local and national mental health therapists and professionals

  • Build subscriber base revolving around health and wellness

  • Monitor Help A Reporter Out (HARO) daily, pitch stories, and develop relationships with reporters and press outlets

  • Research, develop and refine advertising campaigns (Google adwords, Instagram, Facebook, etc. ads)

  • Create and manage Monthly Newsletters

  • Respond to subscriber and customer inquiries

  • Update professional profiles regularly (Facebook, LinkedIn, Psychology Today, Google Business, etc.)

  • Press Releases, PR announcements, and press campaigns 

  • Product Launches

Community + Social Media Management

  • Build a subscription list for wellness seekers and wellness professionals

  • Create engaging newsletters and email campaigns for subscribers

  • Expand social media channels on YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter and LinkedIn

  • Manage social media calendar, including scheduling and posting across Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin, Facebook, Google Adwords and on webpages

  • Strengthen our following on Instagram and Twitter

  • Engage audience and respond to user commentary 

Website Maintenance 

  • Experience with website maintenance with WordPress and Squarespace

  • Updating web copy, blogs, and hyperlinks
